A multicultural background
Being rooted in Geneva while connected to several cultures helps me support both local residents and people with international backgrounds.
AR Support brings together two areas that have always mattered to me: helping people with administration and teaching English.
I am from Geneva, with Scottish and Thai roots, and grew up surrounded by different languages, cultures and perspectives. That multicultural background shapes the way I work with people: with an open mind, careful listening and a willingness to adapt.
French, English and Thai are part of my everyday life and identity. I also work confidently in German and continue to develop my Spanish and Italian, both currently at B1 level. Living with several languages helps me understand people from different backgrounds and build trust.
Through AR Support, I offer professional, approachable and personal support, whether you need help making sense of administrative tasks or want to build confidence in English.
A few key points about the experience and approach I bring to AR Support.
Being rooted in Geneva while connected to several cultures helps me support both local residents and people with international backgrounds.
My administrative experience spans the private and public sectors, including industry, healthcare and education at Caterpillar Sàrl, HUG and Institut Florimont. These roles taught me the value of accuracy, organization, clarity and dependable follow-through.
English has always been part of who I am. Teaching it is more than a service to me: it is a passion I have shared with adult learners from many different backgrounds.
Listening and building a good working relationship matter to me. I want each person to feel understood, respected and supported at a pace that suits them.
My hands-on experience is supported by training directly relevant to AR Support’s two services: administrative assistance and English teaching.
A broad vocational qualification that forms the foundation of my administrative career and work across different professional settings.
Further training in secretarial work and administrative management, strengthening an organized, structured and reliable way of working.
Practical methods for planning, coordinating and tracking tasks clearly while keeping priorities in view.
A Cambridge qualification earned at Bell School Switzerland in Geneva, reflecting structured professional training in teaching English to adults.
Although I am half Scottish and grew up speaking only English and Thai with my immediate family, I now speak English with a standard North American accent and mainly use standard American vocabulary.
This is partly a reflection of my family history. My father taught English at the University of Geneva’s Faculty of Translation and Interpreting and at several public and private institutions. He chose a more neutral accent to make himself understood by all his students. I also grew up watching mainly American films and TV series.
During my career, I have had the opportunity to teach English at Sight & Sound Formation and Wall Street English Genève : general, business and academic English, preparation for Cambridge, TOEFL and IELTS exams, and job interviews in English. Student feedback and internal statistics placed me among the most appreciated teachers, with clarity, kindness and the ability to build learners’ confidence mentioned repeatedly. My adult students, aged approximately 20 to 62, successfully achieved their goals.
Beyond technical skills, my work is about listening, building a good relationship and finding solutions that truly fit the person I am supporting.
I take time to understand your situation, expectations and concerns before suggesting a solution.
I work methodically and reliably, with close attention to detail.
Everyone works differently. I adapt my approach, language and pace to the situation.
I take initiative, organize and make decisions when needed, while keeping communication, respect and cooperation at the center.
Starting my own business is something I had been considering for a long time. People close to me often said that my skills, background and way of supporting others would lend themselves naturally to a business of my own.
With the support of my family and friends, I finally found the courage to make it happen. I launched AR Support in November 2026 with a simple aim: to put my administrative and English teaching skills to work in a more personal, flexible way, closer to what people actually need.
My aim is to provide quality support with one consistent point of contact, continuity and a relationship built on trust.
Shared interests and an authentic personality can also help build trust.
I enjoy intercultural exchange, living languages and anything that brings people together across borders.
I enjoy helping, explaining and seeing people become more independent, confident and knowledgeable.
I am interested in tools that simplify everyday life, improve organization and make tasks easier.
Family, lifelong learning and intellectual curiosity in all its forms are important to me.
Let’s talk. An initial conversation will help you decide whether my approach and services are a good fit for you.
